My name is Andy Cornell. On February 17, 2013, I was ordained as a minister of word and sacrament in the Presbyterian Church in Canada
I have been pastor here since September 2011. In December, 2012, I finished my studies at Knox College, the Presbyterian seminary at the University of Toronto. Before that, I was a reporter and editor in the worlds of radio and newspapers, ending my career as assistant managing editor of The Chatham Daily News in August 2011.
I am married to Pam and we have two sons in their 20s. I am into running and personal fitness. I am a mediocre bass guitar player. I prefer newspapers over web news any day.
My personal goal is to be God’s faithful servant as we transform the church without losing its essential message, that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
